How Emotions & Frequency Alter Our Health: A Trauma Therapist’s Perspective

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to heal faster from trauma than others? Or why some people are more prone to chronic illnesses and pain? The answer may lie in the connection between emotions and frequency.

Frequency is the rate at which something vibrates or oscillates. Everything in the universe has a frequency, from atoms to planets. Our bodies also have frequencies, which can be measured by devices such as electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electrocardiograms (ECGs).

Emotions are the subjective feelings that arise from our thoughts, beliefs, memories, and experiences. Emotions also have frequencies, which can be detected by various devices.

When we experience positive emotions, such as joy, love, gratitude, and peace, our frequency increases. When we experience negative emotions, such as fear, anger, guilt, and shame, our frequency decreases.

The frequency of our emotions affects the frequency of our bodies, and vice versa. When our frequency is high, we are more likely to be healthy, resilient, and happy. When our frequency is low, we are more likely to be sick, stressed, and depressed.

Various things impact our frequency, from the foods we eat, the language we speak, the places we are, exercise, essential oils and so much more.

Trauma is an event or situation that overwhelms our ability to cope and causes emotional distress. Trauma can lower our frequency and create emotional blockages in our energy system. These blockages can manifest as physical symptoms, such as pain, inflammation, infection, or disease.

As a trauma therapist, I help my clients work through trauma by using somatic and frequency-based techniques. Somatic techniques involve working with the body and its sensations to release emotional tension and restore balance. Frequency-based techniques involve using sound, light, color, or vibration to raise the frequency and harmonize the energy system.

In addition to these techniques, I also recommend holistic tools and natural remedies that can help my clients improve their emotional and physical health. Some of these tools and remedies are:

  • Meditation: Meditation is a practice of focusing the mind on a single object, thought, or sensation. Meditation can calm the nervous system, reduce stress hormones, increase brain waves associated with relaxation and happiness, and enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.
  • Affirmations: Affirmations are positive statements that we repeat to ourselves to reinforce our beliefs and intentions. Affirmations can change the way we think and feel about ourselves and our situations. Affirmations can also influence the frequency of our cells and organs by sending them messages of health and wellness.
  • Essential oils: Essential oils are concentrated extracts from plants that have various therapeutic properties. Essential oils can affect the mood, memory, cognition, and behavior by stimulating the olfactory system and the limbic system. Essential oils can also modulate the immune system, the endocrine system, and the nervous system by interacting with receptors and enzymes.
  • Frequency Scans: These scans can identify what is in and out of balance within the body by using a tools that identifies over 120,000 common frequencies. This tool is beneficial in identifying the emotional imbalances as well as physical imbalances and gives information on what may be impacting the person on a deeper scale.

These are just some of the ways that emotions and frequency affect our health and how we can use them to heal from trauma.

Paying attention to the body and the emotions that we are experiencing is very beneficial in helping heal. Raising our frequency improves our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
